Description
"Handbook of Equine Radiography" is intended as a how-to guide to obtaining high-quality radiographs of the horse. It will cover all practical aspects of taking radiographs of the commonly-examined regions (lower limbs and skull) as well as less frequently examined regions (upper limbs, trunk). The main part of the book consists of diagrams to illustrate the positioning of the horse and the radiography equipment. For each view, and ideally on the facing page, a good example of a normal radiograph is illustrated. The accompanying text for each radiographic view is brief and succinct. This book is relevant to practitioners in North America and other countries engaged in equine work; the only section specific to the UK is that on legislation. This chapter is presented as an Appendix and edited to reflect the legislation issues in the USA.
